I guess I have picnics on the brain. Tomorrow evening we are having a picnic barbeque....in spite of the rainy and cold weather! Last year at the Garden Show I saw this old fashioned garden with a picnic set up in the backyard. It reminded me so much of my Grandmother's garden that it brought tears to my eyes......and inspired me to re-create it for my friends (as well as in this little painting).
